แต่ Cagney Wenk วัย 26 ปี จากเมืองโบลเดอร์ รัฐโคโลราโด เกือบไม่ได้มีโมเม้นนั้น เมื่อเขาได้รับการวินิจฉัยว่าเป็นมะเร็งสมอง ระยะที่สี่

Wenk was still in a Denver, Colorado, ICU when his son came into the world on September 18. The new dad was recovering from one of the three brain surgeries he's had to undergo since the diagnosis. But the Boulder Community Hospital staff rallied around Wenk and his family and wheeled him into the delivery room with his nurse and the full array of ICU equipment to watch his son's birth. Levon Robbie Wenk was born at 2:12 a.m., and Wenk was even able to cut the cord. The entire scene was captured by photographer, videographer and doula, Sarah Boccolucci.

Sarah Broccolucci คนที่ถ่ายภาพโมเม้นสุดซึ้งนี้บอกกับ Today Parents ว่า “บรรยากาศในห้องดูสงบ และเต็มไปด้วยความสุข ทั้งเจ้าหน้าที่โรงพยาบาลและครอบครัว ต่างก็ตื้นตันกับสิ่งที่เห็นและให้กำลังใจเขา”

ตอนนี้ได้มีการจัดตั้งแคมเปญ  GiveForward เพื่อหาเงินให้ครอบครัวของ Cagney เพื่อจ่ายค่ารักษาพยาบาล และค่าเครื่องมือทางการแพทย์ที่ใช้รักษาเขา ซึ่งต้องใช้ประมาณ 1,700,000 บาท ตอนนี้หาได้แล้วประมาณ 810,000 บาท
